Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish with English roots. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' prior marriages. The family resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and she did not take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the changed schools from Northlands. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. When she reached the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to pursue a full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an acting star began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model who hired her to be model for professional models.
